This tour is best for guests who prefer to stay away from speed boats for slow easy sailing. If you have young children, are currently pregnant, have a sensitive back, get seasick easily, or would like to stay overnight at the park the tour boat is the way to go.

Day Tour Samui to Angthong

The boat is fully equipped with comfortable seating, a large sundeck, a toilet and a shower. Meals are enjoyed on board and there are unlimited soft drinks available throughout the journey. If it’s an ice-cold beer you need just ask your guide.

A range of waterproof products is available for purchase on board. Products such as waterproof bags for telephones and i-pods (with waterproof earphones), underwater cameras, and dry bags/boxes.

Your first kayaking experience commences on the southern end of “Ko Mae Ko”. Our tour guide will lead you by kayak along the coastline until you will end your first kayaking experience at the white, sandy beach of “Ko Mae Ko”.

Back on shore, the next adventure of the kayaking and snorkelling tour will be sightseeing at the astonishing “Green Lagoon” or “Emerald Lake”, a hidden saltwater lake inside of “Ko Mae Ko”.

After all this action it is time for lunch! A selection of delicious Thai dishes will be available at the lunch buffet. Enjoy your lunch on board the tour boat while it cruises through the breathtaking scenery, from the “Ko Mae Ko” to the northern part of Angthong Marine Park with “Ko Tai Plao” as your destination for the second kayaking trip. Re-energized from your lunch, our tour guide will then lead you with your kayak through magical tunnels, into mysterious caves and along bizarre rock formations. After the second kayak trip, the tour will proceed with snorkelling at the islands of “Ko Tai Plao” so you can experience and discover the underwater world of the Marine National Park.

On the kayak day tour, you will also discover the dozens of dreamy deserted beaches of the Marine National Park. You should keep your eyes and ears alert while kayaking and cruising through the park, as you might be lucky to see the families of whales, dolphins and monkeys that make this spectacular park their home. Besides our tour schedule, you will have ample time for exploring beneath the water or just relaxing and absorbing the unforgettable images of the kayak day tour that will stay with you forever.

• 07:00 – 8:00 *Transfer from your Hotel by air-conditioned Minibus. Pickup from Chaweng Beach will be at 07:15 am.
• 08:00 The boat departs from Nathon pier, Koh Samui. Light breakfast on the boat is included.
• 10:00 Arrival at Angthong Marine National Park. You will start the first session of kayaking in the morning along the island of Koh Mae.
• 11:00 the viewpoint and the Green Lagoon (Emerald Lake) at Koh Mae.
• 11:45 (selection of Thai dishes and salad) onboard the boat as it travels to the northern islands.
• 12:30 Second kayak tour exploring small caves, lakes and beaches at Koh Thai Plao. Snorkelling is also in this area.
• 15:00 Departure from the Marine Park for Koh Samui.
• 16.30 Return transfer to your Hotel.
